Mario Ferrarini

Mario Ferrarini studied Industrial Design at the Politecnico of Milan. After several projects on behalf of a few major international design studios, ranging from product scale to architecture, in 2007, he founded his own studio on the outskirts of Como, by gradually designing a number of products for international companies, combining a wide range of soft skills, from interior design to trade show exhibiting spaces. The studio supports customer companies in the research and development of new products and scenarios through process optimization, stimulating and expanding all possible borders to create competitive market advantage.

We create timeless products that transcend momentary trends. Our target focus is deeply fuelled by the desire to secure lasting solutions to our customers, in a productive perspective of wide consumption. We carry out extensive market research surveys ranging from typological analysis to competitor analysis, to the study of different contexts and types of consumers and innovative materials, up to production process optimization.

We work closely with all production departments, none excluded, and identify any possible viewpoints that may be translated into new design and process inputs. The resulting products are the fruit of a participatory dialogue between the different elements in play. We therefore see authorship as the result of shared ideas and experience rather than the personal project of an individual.

The essential lever of our design approach is the search for the ideal balance as a general concept. Products are made using technical, aesthetic and functional approaches that stem from a complex vision, the witness of a search for perfection that is always expressed in a clever and respectful way.Customers: Antonio Lupi, Bitossi Ceramiche, Busnelli, Castelli 1877, Crassevig, Dorelan, Emmemobili, Ethimo, Franke, Jacuzzi, Living Divani, Nube Italia, Poltrona Frau, Willisau AG
