1) Why did you choose Cristalplant® for your projects?
I began using Cristalplant® when I won the Cristalplant Design Contest in 2010, the edition in collaboration with Zanotta. The product I presented was “White Shell”, a furniture accessory that combines the functionality of a table top to that of an informal container. One of the original principles of White Shell is the shape, sinuous and continuous, which enhances the aesthetic and technical qualities of Cristalplant®. This is to date a successful product featured in the catalogue of Zanotta, a company with which I have had collaborated also in the years to follow.
2) What are the advantages of Cristalplant®?
The possibility it offers to create seamless objects with complex shapes makes Cristalplant® an excellent material. In addition, its white matte finish is well balanced, both in appearance and to the touch. A final and significant plus of this material is that it can be easily restored from scratches or stains by simply rubbing a Scotch-Brite® scouring pad, always supplied with Cristalplant® products.
3) Why would you recommend Cristalplant® to other designers?
Because it is a high quality material recognized by the market. If one considers which companies have already chosen Cristalplant®, it is quite obvious that its target is extremely high. In addition, the staff at the company that manufactures Cristalplant works with great accuracy and punctuality and provides great clarity in the service.
