Lucia Carlomagno is the winner of the Icons Design Contest for the bathtub category
Lucia Carlomagno is the young designer that won the bathtub category of the tenth edition of the Cristalplant® design Contest.
Lucia, originally from Naples, graduated in Interior Design at Milan Polytechnic and co-operates with various architectural companies in Naples, Caserta and Milan, where she deals with interior design and graphics. Her strong passion for design led her to start LHABI, together with her friend and partner Serena Di Nocera, a company where creativity and Made in Italy merge to produce tailor-made furnishing products and solutions.
The winning project, whose name comes from the physiognomic recreation of a typical southern Italian boat, the Lancetta, stood out because it re-interpreted the design of the first bathtubs of the nineteenth century, keeping the lines of contemporary bathtubs.
Born from the idea of giving a greater feeling of comfort and well-being, the Lancetta bathtub assimilates the bath experience with the experience of sitting on a chaise longue.
